Isaiah repeatedly places worship beside conduct, pride beside humility, judgment beside mercy, and corruption beside restoration. The model helps organize those relationships into questions we can examine personally and collectively.
What “resonance” means here
Within this framework, Perfect Truth is the reference. Resonance describes alignment with God’s truth, character, and purposes. Dissonance describes a contradiction between that reference and our beliefs or conduct. The published model distinguishes theological interpretation, teaching analogy, and real but unverified metaphysical hypotheses. A proposed spiritual-frequency or field relationship is not established physics; its intended scope should also not be erased by calling every proposal merely metaphor.
Like tuning an instrument against a reference tone, the model invites us to examine what needs correction. The analogy is limited: people are moral agents, and redemption depends on Jesus Christ’s grace. Salvation cannot be reduced to mechanical self-adjustment.
Truth is the reference
The model treats God’s truth, character, and purposes as the reference for examining belief and conduct. Conviction, popularity, and institutional status are not sufficient evidence of alignment.
Agency makes alignment meaningful
People can accept or resist correction. Recognition becomes repentance through a willing response to God, including changed conduct and dependence on Christ’s grace.
Choices compound
Repeated choices shape character and communities. Isaiah’s images invite us to examine how neglected injustice and practiced righteousness affect others over time.
Correction opens restoration
Exposure of corruption can lead to cleansing and renewed faithfulness. The model reads judgment and mercy together, without reducing salvation to self-improvement.
How it helps us read Isaiah
- Begin with the passage. Identify its named audience, images, accusations, commands, and promises. A modern application should remain accountable to the actual words.
- Choose the perspective. Ask how the pattern relates to an individual, a covenant community, leadership, or another institution. Changing the lens changes the application, not the scripture.
- Identify alignment and contradiction. Compare professed values with conduct. Use concrete evidence when evaluating actual people or institutions.
- Explain why. Show how the reading follows from specific verses and how choices affect people and communities.
- Examine the why behind the why. Consider underlying commitments such as agency, justice, mercy, covenant responsibility, and dependence on Christ.
- Preserve limits. Distinguish what the passage says, what the model infers, and what remains uncertain.
Personal and institutional readings
A personal reading asks where my actions and commitments need correction. An institutional reading asks how a community’s policies, incentives, leadership, and treatment of vulnerable people compare with its professed purposes. Neither perspective removes the responsibility revealed by the other.
For Latter-day Saint institutional applications, distinguish doctrine, administration, leaders’ decisions, and member conduct. Being a latter-day scripture does not automatically identify the modern Church as the exclusive target of every rebuke. It also does not exempt any community from examining justice and faithfulness.
Reconciliation without forced agreement
You can submit one interpretation or many. With one author, the model evaluates that reading against the scripture and the model. With several, it also examines common ground and disagreements. The analysis considers each source’s strongest contribution, textual support, assumptions, and gaps. It identifies shared insights and real contradictions, then proposes one Resonance Model synthesis with explicit reasoning.
When the sources conflict or evidence is insufficient, the result should retain that uncertainty. A common theme is not proof that incompatible claims agree. Each author’s own reading and original submitted text remain available beside the assessment. The final synthesis belongs to the model’s analysis; it must not be attributed to every source author.
One question, different perspectives
In Ask & explore, compare the same question and passage through two perspectives. Each answer explains its reading, why, deeper reasoning, application, and limits. Both are saved privately. This works throughout all 66 chapters, including those without prepared commentary.
Collaboration that leads somewhere
Signed-in readers can contribute interpretations to a shared chapter discussion. Select contributions for comparison, then add them to the reconciliation workspace with their authors and original words intact. Your private drafts stay in place. Nothing is sent for AI analysis until you submit the comparison.
The standard and the evidence
Choose any passage and your own question, or start with worship, repentance, justice, humility, leadership, or restoration. The alignment review compares the passage’s stated standard with general membership, leadership, and individual conduct. Hypothetical examples illustrate what a shortfall could look like. An assessment of an actual case requires relevant evidence. User-supplied reports and links are not independently verified merely because an AI reads them.
An independent, LDS-oriented study project
The Resonance Model seeks alignment with the gospel as taught by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. This site does not speak for the Church, represent its leaders, or establish doctrine. Scripture and official teaching take precedence over the model; the model itself remains open to correction.
Official Church teachingsWhat knowledge informs the AI?
The Isaiah AI now uses ten founder-supplied foundational documents, together with the 287-passage published collection used by ResonanceModel.com. The documents govern definitions, claim status, conceptual relationships, and the interpretation method. It includes study chapters, the Five-Law Mortal Loop, the Nine Laws, agency, Christ and grace, the Sin Cycle, Ascension, supporting systems, and glossary definitions. Current knowledge edition: foundation-2026-11-04-6a27478b0bac+study-f031440.
Every new generated analysis must identify supplied model passages supporting its reasoning. The answer links those passages separately from its Isaiah verse references and retains the source edition in your saved record. The AI does not automatically read private ChatGPT conversations or every historical research file.
The published collection draws on the model’s reconciled source work. Earlier brainstorming is not automatically treated as the current definition. The source collection preserves differences between the September review definitions and later published formulations. Revisions require a reviewed import and synchronization into both sites.
